The check-in was smooth, our luggage was placed in the room by the staff, staff which was very friendly and helpful. They have free coffee, juice & snacks, and a covered onsen. The room was spotless clean, with a big comfy bed, and a small table with 2 chairs for taking in the urban view from the huge window. We ended up staying one more night because the city and the hotel both exceeded our expectations and wanted to spend more time there. All in all, a great choice for staying when in Sendai.

The location is superb. It is just beside Sendai Station and it is fully sheltered. The room is right sized for couple and the breakfast while not as widespread nevertheless do showcase Miyagi's regional speciality which is appreciated. The staff is professional and detailed in their explanation. Despite the fact that English is not their main language, the staff nevertheless tried to make conversation as smooth as possible. My Japanese is shaky.

The room (I had the basic level option) was gigantic for Japan, with a huge picture window and a view to die for. To say I was blown away upon arrival would be an understatement. The hotel is spacious and uncrowded. I suspect it caters almost exclusively to the Japanese market so some instructions were on rather informal notes, or simply only in Japanese. The rate is breakfast and dinner included but also includes unlimited alcohol from 7pm and coffee/tea/refreshments all day with an icecream bar in the late morning and afternoon. The silence and sleep quality was superb as was the bathroom with shower.
