Everything are the best in your way. I cannot give the hotel 10/10 because the Chinese name of the hotel is a bit hard to find a map on-line.

Great town. Nice size - big but but very big, small but only incomprison to very big places - ie more laid back than Tokyo and Osaka etc but more going on than a (picturesque) paddy field. Try the Gyu-tongue set ( or go home really, it is the local thing. very nice)

Unfortunately I was thinking of another hotel when I did my initial review so I badly underscored this hotel. My apologies to Hotel GrandBach - it is an outstanding hotel worthy of a 10 and not the 7 I gave it. Beautiful hotel, modern, clean, wonderful atmosphere, great facilities, amazing onsen, live music, free snacks and beverages in the lounge, friendly and helpful staff, easy location - I can’t commend it more.

Sendai is a city that must be visited for several days. Because there are many places to visit.
The city center is modern and more has shopping.
Outside the city there are important historical sites.

Sendai is known as the City of Trees - and for good reason.
Sendai is known as the City of Trees - and for good reason. There's an insane amount of massively large and tall cedar trees everywhere! It's a very easily walkable city and if you need to go to parts beyond there's great transport links, either via the metro, overland train (JR), trams, or even the Sendai City Loople Bus - which takes you around to about a half dozen major attractions - think hop on / hop off.
Must see spots in Sendai are Rinnouji Temple, Zuihoden Mausoleum, Sendai Castle (Aoba Castle), and a little further out of the city (about an hour by train) is Yamadera Temple - not to be missed!
The city is centred around the massive train station in the centre of town and it does not disappoint. There's floors of shopping, restaurants, groceries, fancy food vendors, anything you could want. If you can't find anything in the labyrinthian corridors of the station, venture outside to the over 2500 restaurants and bars. I challenge you to not find something - anything - to satiate yourself with.

I absolutely adored Sendai and will visit again!
I absolutely adored Sendai and will visit again! The only problem that we had was the heat and humidity during the middle of September limited what we could do, but we made the most of our time at the Sendai train station-shopping!, the trees in the area were beautiful (I can see why they call it city of trees), we road the buses quite a bit (air conditioning) so we got to see quite a bit of the city, and made the most of the mall that was near the train station. Felt VERY SAFE there, the only con that I could say would be that unlike Tokyo, there were not to many people who spoke English but we expected that because our daughter works there, however she did most of the translating and figuring out the yen to buy things was actually quite easy, except for the coins. Navigating the trains was pretty easy, the people there knew some english and were quite helpful. It was a wonderful place to do it, very pretty and we will go again next year.
I expected a tiny room because it was the cheapest option around Sendai Station. But I’ve got a big room (in Jp standards) with a big bed, I even had a place to do yoga in the room. The bathroom was comfy too, with a big bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and fast. I couldn’t return to hotel to pick up my luggage on the next day, so they agreed to help to send it to my address in Kyoto. All these things made me very satisfied. Will stay at Richmond Hotel on my next time in Sendai.
The staff is really friendly and helpful. They really care about their guests and remember their faces and room number to make daily interactions easier.
The beds are really big and comfortable, and the bathroom is relatively large and comes with towels, toothbrushes and soaps.
The location is amazing and very convenient. In just a few minutes you can reach the heart of Sendai.
I really fell in love with the city, and this hotel added to the charm of it
Located about a 5 minute walk from JR Sendai Station, Almont Hotel Sendai is conveniently situated for exploration. The room was average size for the country and the accommodations were well cared for and clean.
The spa/onsen area was accessible and relaxing, a great way to unwind from the days travels. I did not have the breakfast but there was the option.
Check-out was simple with a digital kiosk, multiple languages were available.
This is my favorite hotel in Tohoku! I have no disparaging comments about the Sendai Westin. Miss Kato and Miss Mori, staff members at the front desk, again provided tremendous help and unsolicited kindness, helping with reservations for restaurants, taxis, etc. The hotel should be proud to have these two exceptional staff members in their employ.
Located about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, KOKO Hotel Sendai South is clean, comfortable, and quiet. The rooms are the perfect size, not too small, and the front desk staff is very helpful. The laundry facilities are easy to use too. Hope to stay here again sometime!
The location! I love how it’s located at right next to the station with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel is newer and has more space than the other Metropolitan hotel. The staff members are also very courteous. I will definitely stay here again
Location is near from Sendai station, no need to cross any road, use walkway thru Parco. Check-in and -out was very smooth. Many rental car company around, and the hotel will give you discount for the parking fee at parking area by the back side of the hotel.
This modern hotel is a short walk from the Sendai Station. It's clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice.
The staff were very helpful with suggestions to local events and locations. It's a great place for a short stay for a work or leisure traveller.
The hotel is a close walk from Sendai Station. The rooms are clean and the staff is nice. The blackout curtain certainly blocks all light. Alot of lighting options. The staff held my luggage for a few hours after I checked out.
I enjoy stayed at Hotel GrandBach Sendai. The hotel takes only 5 minute walk from sendai station, have convenient store under the hotel. Hotel's staffs are very helpful on accept and sending my luggages to other city.
The exterior and interior design of the hotel makes you feel that you are in 70/80s.
You are able to spot the hotel building once you step out of West exit of Sendai station and it’s within 10mins walk.
Close to Sendai Station and shopping arcade. Around with delicious restaurants. Luxury hatel with old fashion hospitality (beautiful Japanese omotenashi) .
