Very friendly and useful staff and the room was great! I liked the corner of the room with tatami flooring to relax in a lot. And there were was another corner to sit on a couch to watch TV.

The laundry/dryer was accessible and convenient. hotel was clean and next to it was 7/11. It is walking distance to temples, river, restaurants, and market/malls.

In all aspects, this hotel/villa surpassed our expectations. This is the best location to stay in Kyoto without a doubt! Walking distance to everything you could possibly want to visit, right in the Gion district but miraculously escaping the crowded roads! Less than 10 minute walk to stations that will take you anywhere. To top up the location we got an immaculately clean and very well maintained room/apartment, spacious (we were a family of 4 and our two children are young adults), bright and airy. The staff is incredibly friendly, flexible and efficient. Super organised with storing luggage on arrival and/or departure should you arrive early or leave later. Organised our bags to be transported to the next accommodation in a super efficient way. Thank you to all at Rinn Gion Kenningi Villa, we absolutely loved staying with you and will come back!!

Fantastic location, 10 mins walk from Kiyomizudera and right next to Gion. A short walk to a local metro station for travel to Arashiyama/Nara, or Kyoto-Kawaramachi station to get the train to Osaka. Room was a good size, big enough for 4 people plus a suitcase each. Staff were lovely and very accommodating, held our luggage before we checked in and helped us sort luggage forwarding to our next hotel. Couldn’t fault anything, an excellent stay!
