Most convenient hotel if you plan to stay overnight at Murodo. Half board meals was ok, and quite a lot of food. Old style hotel, but facilities remained good. Love the lounge with piano on 5th floor. Staff were polite. Public hot bath is pretty small.

It is right in front of the Tateyama Station! In addition, the staff are really helpful. They even helped me with my pole that got stuck so I can bring it back home.

We are a family of four and stayed in two double rooms for two nights. We were actually not looking for an Onsen hotel (which is what the hotel is), just for a nice place to stay in Toyama, after visiting Kanazawa and before setting out to the Tateyama-Kurobe alpine route. The hotel was clean and nice. Staff were friendly, Tatami rooms gave good atmosphere. Treats were a nice surprise: free ramen after 9 pm, free probiotics and sweet snacks at other hours, free tram rides. We didn’t get to use all these bonuses (and I’m the only one who tried the onsen downstairs) but they were very nice. Rooms were a little bit too small and not very comfy. There is a lot wooden onsen bath inside the room. Very close to the glass museum.

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Baths were wonderful. Very well set up. The whole set up was very efficient and thoughtful for the traveller.
