Shokinkan is set in Yasugi, 27 km from Lake Shinji, 29 km from Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum, and 25 km from Mizuki Shigeru Museum. Staying with Shokinkan is an unforgettable experience.Before our stay, I contacted the owner about shuttle bus and they replied promptly. To our surprise, the owner gave us a ride from Adachi museum to the accommodation. Talking of the location, Shokinkan is inside temple complex. You need to go through the pavement of the temple to reach there. Regarding room, it is spacious and the scenery from the window is beyond expression. Green fresh momiji with red azalea. What a combination! We are welcomed with matcha and local sweet upon arrival. Before dinner, taking a shower and immersed in the bath to erase the tiredness from travel. They provide Shojin Cuisine for dinner. No matter the food or the utensils are with high quality and sensibility. The owner’s wife suggested us the local sake, which matched with food perfectly. The portion of dinner is generous. Seasonal vegetables are very tasty. The next morning, before breakfast, we explored Kiyomizu temple during rain. After check out, the owner took us all the way back to Yasugi station.

Ryokane „Hoshi“ siūloma apsistoti paprastuose japoniško stiliaus numeriuose su plokščiaekraniais televizoriais. The family is welcoming and discreet. The room was bigger than expected, the meal and breakfast was delicious. Tsuwano ifself is a great place, this minshuku made my stay wonderful.

5.4 km from Lake Shinji in Matsue, Hotel Gyokusen features accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and public bath. The hotel is located away from the traffic and is very comfortable. What satisfied me extremely was the Japanese dinner. I stayed for three nights at the standard food level with no extra items. I requested, though, in advance to change the dinner items every night. Three Japanese course dinners were then served. I was served in a private dining room and attended by cheerful and very kind staffs. The items, variation, and the quantities were all much better than I expected. Not only the varieties of taste but also the arrangements (colors, temperature, shape of plates, and timings) are excellently done. I strongly recommend to stay at least three nights to enjoy fully what the traditional Japanese style of food can show. Another point to recommend is the services by the staffs. As the guests next to my room had a small kid running around, I asked the front to change my room (I had two more nights). The front immediately prepared a room on the other side for me so that I can sleep quietly.

Counting an almost 200-year history, Fukumakan features Japanese-style rooms and freestanding cottages, some overlooking Miho Bay. A real discovery: Mihonoseki is a special place, a fishermen's village away from everything and still quite convenient to reach. I stayed at one of the Fukumakan annex houses. A beautiful old Japanese house, perfectly maintained with all conforts one might need. Lovely views of the port from the first floor. Breakfast and dinner are also a special treat in Japanese fish cuisine. Highly recommended

OWL RESORT ARIFUKU ONSEN is located in the Arifuku Onsen district of Gotsu, 13 km from Gotsu City General Citizen Center Milky Way Hall, 41 km from Nima Sand Museum and 47 km from Iwami Ginzan World... The hotel is clean and maintained in perfect condition. The environment was very nice and quiet . The crews are perfect. The dinner was of superb style and quality. The stay was fantastic.
