It was an exceptional experience. The reception was super warm and friendly, from the moment we arrived they offered us tea. The temples are impressive and the landscapes will take your breath away. The lodging building was impeccably clean and organized, the rooms were gigantic, and the treatment of the staff and both the dinner and breakfasts were exemplary experiences. The onsen (the traditional baths) was the highlight of the experience. But attending the ceremonies, especially the fire ritual is a unique experience not to be missed.

Kasuga Hotel ligger 2 minutters gang fra Kintetsu-Nara Station, 5 minutters taxatur fra JR Nara Station og 5 minutters gang fra Kofuku-ji-templet. Good location, friendly staff, very good traditional food, the room was great, the futon bed very confortable. It was an awsome japanese experience.

Tsukihitei ligger i Kasugayama Primeval Skov, som står opført på UNESCOs verdensarvsliste. In the middle of Nara's country park, find a piece of heaven, disconnect from the busy world and enjoy a unique Ryokan experience. Don't expect any fancy facilites but reconnect with the nature and silence. All the staff are really nice and the food is excellent. a once in a lifetime experience, to be repeated.

Kanko Ryokan Yamato ligger i Ikoma, blot 8,8 km fra Iwafune-helligdommen, og tilbyder indkvartering med byudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. The accommodation was only a few steps away from the cable car station, making it accessible. Not only is the outside reminiscent of the traditional ryokan imagery but the inside is also beautifully decorated and maintained by the host. Flowers are freshly placed, baths are timed for guests' use, and the host is always there to make sure your stay is as welcome as possible.

The location was picturesque and overall incredibly pleasant to look around at. The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.

Kakimotoya ligger i nærheden af Mount Shigi, 10 minutters taxatur fra JR Oji Station. We were pleasantly surprised by the meals provided at the Ryokan. Meals were beautifully prepared. We didn't get to experience the bath but we hope to next time. Very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. The staff were all so kind.
