O Oyado Tsukiusagi oferece quartos em estilo japonês e WiFi gratuito a cerca de 10 minutos a pé do Santuário de Itsukushima. Fantastic stay! The lady who runs the ryokan is very kind and helpful, always with a smile. She doesn't speak English, but magically understands any need. Very large room, very comfortable bed. Lovely place!

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Staying here was like entering another world. We were picked up by a very friendly and helpful driver who pointed out points of interest on the way up to the house on the hill. There we were greeted by a lovely lady who escorted us into the lobby were a friendly, young man checked us in. The lovely lady then escorted us up to our room and showed us were everything was, made us tea and made sure we had fitting yukatas to wear. The room was very spacious with an incredible view over to the iconic "floating" Tori gate. We spent our first our just sitting on the window sill with our tea taking in the breathtaking scenery. Dinner was an adventure of most excellent Japanese cuisine. The private onsen was lovely. It is a hop and a skip down some steps into the village and down to the sea and I recommend a walk at twilight and night to really enjoy the place before the daytripping crowds come in the morning. The staff were so nice and helpful and on the day of departure they offered us to leave our luggage with them while we went for a hike and when it was time to leave we could simply call them from the port and the driver brought it down from the hill in the little car. I would love to stay here again. Just perfect!

A apenas 1 minuto a pé do Porto de Balsas de Miyajima, o Yamaichi Bekkan apresenta acomodações com WiFi gratuito e TV de tela plana, além de Yukatas (roupa típica japonesa). Amazing host and super fantastic dinner and breakfast. It is Japanese style but had A/C and en-suite toilet/shower. But the high point was Shinko, the owner, who went out of her way to make us comfortable.

Everything, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was lovely, and our room was fantastic with tatami mats and futon beds! Everything felt like an event, and there were a lot of little things that made us smile, like the traditional Japanese sweet in the room. Then, you have the island which is beautiful at night, which you can enjoy while staying, as well as during the day.

Very friendly and helpful staff (with a lift to and from the station). Delicious, beautifully presented food. Comfortable rooms. Convenient onsen next door. Very nice atmosphere.

Great place to stay! They serve a traditional Japanese breakfast. They also do dinner but advance reservation is required. I don’t recall seeing that as an option when booking so I assume you call ahead if you are wanting dinner. Dining options are limited in the evening on the island.
