Syukubo Aso erbjuder boende i Aso, 33 km från Egao Kenko Kumamoto-stadion och 42 km från Kumamoto slott. It’s very comfortable with original ryokan atmosphere. Food was excellence both dinner and breakfast. You need car to get there but it’s worth it.

Okyakuya byggdes 1722 och ligger i ett historiskt område i stadsdelen Kurokawa Onsen. Här bor du bara 100 meter från Kurokawa Onsen. Det finns gratis WiFi och privat parkering på plats. Breakfast and dinner that was provided was really good. Staff was really attentive and welcoming as well. They prepared decaf tea for us, even making sure that the meal was catered to what you asked for (no raw food, no beef etc). They helped us to parked the car, and even help to clean the exterior of our car! Room was great to experience local culture. Private onsen facilities was wonderful as well, just need to queue for it.

Minshuku Asogen ligger i Aso, inom 30 km från Egao Kenko Kumamoto-stadion och 38 km från Kumamoto slott, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi samt gratis privat parkering för gäster som... We had transport issues but the owner waited for us until we arrived around 22:30, which was really nice and really helped us. The private onsen was lovely and the bedroom was cute, we really loved it.

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan har 5 varma källor, inklusive ett 30 meter långt grottbad. We spent 3 nights at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihonbashi Kayabacho hotel after arriving in Japan (There is another Fresa Inn in the area, so make sure this is where you have your reservation). It is a relatively modern, functional hotel sometimes referred to as a business hotel.  The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very small as is typical in Tokyo but very clean and functional.  The hotel is convenient to Tokyo station (20 minutes walking as a reference). After arriving on the Narita Express or by others means to Tokyo station, follow signs to the Tozai line (sky blue) subway. The easiest way to know which direction to go is to look at the numbers representing the stops.  The Tokyo station stop at Otemachi is T-9 and you want to go to T-7 Kayabacho. Leave the Kayabacho subway station via Exit 7 and the hotel is just around the corner.  From Kayabaco or the nearby Nihonbashi station, you can get all around Tokyo on the highly efficient subway system.  Use a Suica, Welcome Suica or Pasmo card to enter and exit subways and avoid the hassle of figuring out which ticket to buy or how much they coat. Just tap and go.  Enjoy. Kokura,Onsen EXPERIENCE JAPAN LIKE THE JAPANESE We decided to spend a couple of days in central Kyushu to enjoy a traditional Japanese ryokan experience. Boy, was that a great call! I88We stayed at the Yama no Yado Shinmeikan  in the Kokura Onsen area, which is an hour north of Aso city by bus. The ryokan is 130 years old but is clean and well-maintained. It features a total of 5 unique onsens, including one carved into a cave.  The ambiance is terrific and the staff is super friendly and helpful.  The ryokan is located along a flowing river and the sound of running water adds to the relaxing quality of the stay.  (The Fuji room is best). All accommodations are traditional Japanese tatami rooms which are made up for sleep each night by the staff as you enjoy the onsen baths.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. The Location was Excellent . . . By the River . . . So nice and beautiful . . . Staff was very nice . . . Food was good . . .

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Everything was more tan perfect. We had an amazing stay here. Staff was extremely friendly, food was fantastic, breakfast was so relaxing atmosphere. The Onsens were soo relaxing. It was like you just stay in a forest with nothing else around you. Relly recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy a Ryokan Onsen at its best

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... wondering services, great location, very traditional room and clean and neat, the onsen inside the room is excellent

Yamashinobu omges av skog och har en rofylld atmosfär. Här finns allmänna och privata varma källbad, ett astronomiskt observatorium samt ett piano. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful and the facilities were clean and beautiful
