We stayed here at the end of a month long trip and it allowed us to relax and wind-down before returning home.

Offering a garden and garden view, Gunjo no Tsuki is located in Kanazawa, 1.8 km from Kanazawa Castle and 1.7 km from Kenrokuen Garden. Loved our stay here, the room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. We were met by the owner who was very kind and informative and he talked us through the distances to the various sights in Kanazawa, which were all walkable and were truly beautiful. The accommodation itself was modern yet traditional, and we appreciated the kitchen and the washing machine as well! There are also restaurants within 5 mins easy walk.

Situated within the historic Higashi Chaya District, Yamanoo boasts carefully prepared traditional local Japanese delicacies. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available on site. One of the most complex and interesting food I´ve ever tried. The staff treated us as members of a royal family. The apartment was beautiful. Definitely coming back one day.

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. Great advice for places to visit, eatery etc. Never saw any accommodation so well prepared! Very helpful for sending baggage. Room was really spacious & well equipped. Bathroom which could be used as a group was really a bonus!

Boasting a 200-year history, Motoyu Ishiya features classic architecture, an original Noh stage and a garden. Great location, excellent stuff, perfect kaiseki food, authentic architecture, relaxing onsen. It`s been the best experience in Japan.

Just 100 metres from the tea houses of the Higashi-Chayamachi district, Minshuku Ginmatsu features free Wi-Fi throughout and offers Japanese-style rooms with air conditioning, an LCD TV and shared... Nice host, pleasant room, good facilities.

Boasting indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths and a waterside Japanese garden, Matsusaki is a 20-minute drive from JR Matsuto Train Station. Everything! Staff are exceptional as was the accommodation. Service was superb and the food delicious. It’s not in Kanazawa but they have a shuttle bus to the station and it’s 3 stops to Kanazawa

Offering views of the Sai River, Yuyaruru Saisai’s spacious Japanese-style rooms have an LCD TV and a private bath. So clean. Everything works and you definitely have what you need. They play a very peaceful background music which adds to the atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent.

Offering free Wi-Fi and free-use bicycles and in-room Japanese meals, Sumiyoshiya is a traditional Japanese-style hotel. It features a garden, hot public baths and coin-operated laundry facilities. The staff is very helpful, friendly and always smiling and offering help. If you are looking for a great roykan to stay at kanzawa this is the place to go to. Breakfast was rich and various rooms were excellent anf spacious
