Hotel Texel is characterized by its welcoming hospitality in combination with modern comforts. Relax in this charming hotel with a heated indoor pool and a fine dining restaurant. We decided to stay a couple of nights for our anniversary. Our stay was very relaxing. The facilities were excellent, high quality and comfy. So comfy we even wanted to buy the pillows to take home. Which aparently they sell! :D

The personal attention from the staff was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning! Rooms were above the busy bar bistro which was a great place to eat and drink. The room was superb, huge bed facing an open bathroom area with double sink and walk in shower. The owner even carried my wife’s bags up to the room when checking us in. As we were cycle touring we needed some where safe to put our bikes. The arrangement they have with the big hotel round the corner worked really well. From their reception I got a key card to access a secure bike garage in n a neighbouring street, for 5 euros a night.

My dog was able to come with us and there was a little gift basket for him. We booked a room with a “backyard” so having that as an option is great. SPA is a stretch but indeed had a great time in the sauna. What I really enjoyed though is how clean it is overall. What is more, the area that the hotel is built around is perfect for walks, there’s a forest not far from it as well.

We had a great stay at Grand Hotel Opduin in one of the separate holiday homes - the location was perfect, close to the beach and the local town with all amenities, lots of great restaurants and bars only a 5 minute walk away. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend! We’ll be happy to stay again on future visits to Texel

Very nice place and close to the beach village Den Koog (less than 5 minutes by bike). Rob and Monika were really nice hosts, and the breakfast was amazing outside in the garden. We did not use the spa zone this time but it looked great, for sure we will come back for the sauna and jacuzzi in the future.

Posizione comoda con la cittadina vicino ed centrale per le visite delle varia attrazioni dell'isola. L'ambiente è informale e rilassante nella stagione estiva sicuramente più apprezzabile. Gentilezza e cortesia dei proprietari sono apprezzabili. Le camere anche se non particolarmente rifinite sono ampie, pulite e dotati di un piccolo salotto da noi molto apprezzato. La camera dava su un giardino interno molto carino, sicuramente apprezzabile in estate.
