Set in Sendai, 17 km from Shiogama Shrine, Hotel GrandBach Sendai features views of the city. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station & there's a very convenient ground floor 7-11. The check-in was smooth, our luggage was placed in the room by the staff, staff which was very friendly and helpful. They have free coffee, juice & snacks, and a covered onsen. The room was spotless clean, with a big comfy bed, and a small table with 2 chairs for taking in the urban view from the huge window. We ended up staying one more night because the city and the hotel both exceeded our expectations and wanted to spend more time there. All in all, a great choice for staying when in Sendai.
