Taketomijima Akaneya is located in Taketomi. The accommodation features traditional Okinawan red tile roofs and traditional Taketomi-style decor and amenities made from local woods and grass. Very close to the main beaches and to town, beautiful Japanese-style rooms and king-size bathroom. Very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Situato a Iriomote, a 1,4 km dalla spiaggia di Nakano, il Mayagusuku Resort offre un ristorante, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un giardino e una terrazza. the family that owned the hotel were lovely and so helpful, they sorted out all our evening restaurant reservations for us ( there are not many places to eat and they get booked up quickly so even though its super quiet you need to reserve) and even drove us to the restaurant on the first night, they also gave us a lift into town to catch the ferry on the last day. the room was large and characterful and the balcony and the view and the hot tub were great. there is an amazing beach just 5 minutes away.

Situato a Taketomi, a 1,1 km dalla spiaggia di Sonai, l'Hotel Hoshiti Iriomotejima offre un ristorante, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un bar e un salone in comune. The location was paradise. The hotel was situated right on a beautiful and very quiet beach (safe for children). Bring your snorkeling gear as the water is crystal clear and you can see many colorful fishes (we saw Nemo and his family). The staff was the personnification of kindness and made our stay unforgetable. We went post-covid (summer 2022) and there was a shortage of staff but the owner made up for it with free drinks :)

Located in Urauchi and within 500 metres of Maruma Beach, 杜屋 西表島 features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. If u like nature u get woke up by exotic birds, you can see tge sunrise from the terrace. The food and drinks are good. Bed was comfortable , shop and rental services and ferry nearby .

From the reception I felt so welcoming by bon san , staff seems professional in their duties , jego san thank you for making my 2nd day fruitful with koora waterfall and sup as I had no plan and was In confused of how to utilise the time

The views were spectacular. The beach in front of the hotel was lovely to swim at and the water was nice and warm (May). The beach around the corner by the view point was gorgeous. The staff were extremely helpful. They gave us great recommendations for snorkelling and kayaking tours, advice on restaurants, directions, bus service and booked our reservations. Free pick up service from/to ferry. They spoke limited English and we spoke no Japanese (just a few pleasantries) but they used a translator on their phone to work out what we wanted. Nothing was too hard. There is a dive shop there which does boat tours out to the dive spots. You can also hire an SUP.

Situato sull'Isola di Iriomote, l'Iriomotejima Jungle Hotel Painumaya offre camere non fumatori con aria condizionata e vista sul fiume e sulla giungla. The view and location of the hotel were out of this world. The staff was also very friendly and tried to help, even though they had some problems understanding English.
