I visited Portom close to the airport to have a relaxing day before returning home, and I could feel that a lot of attention was paid to customer service from the moment I checked in. I am very grateful to Ms. Kim for her kindness in explaining the unique hotel interior and facilities that are not found in other hotels and guiding us to the front of the room. Also, I contacted the desk for first aid kit at night, and they prepared it without any delay. The hot spring facilities that we were able to use throughout the evening were excellent. The breakfast was very thorough and there was a lot consideration for customers. Overall, it is more expensive than other hotels, but it is well worth the experience.

furano tidak terlalu besar, nyaman untuk berjalan kaki kemana-mana. orang2nya sangat baik dan ramah. susu segar furano sangat sangat nikmat!!! juga tomat, dan kentang disana. makanan khas furano berupa omu curry juga sangat enak, malah merupakan salah satu makanan paling enak selama perjalanan kami di jepang. suasana disini sangat nyaman. pemandangan pun sangat indah. hal yang sangat disayangkan hanyalah toko2 tutup terlalu pagi sehingga jam8 malam sudah tidak ada kegiatan. namun furano tetep salah satu kota yang paling menyenangkan di hokkaido!

Sapporo is very beautiful in Winter with snow covering most of the city's surface. But everyone visiting the town must be prepared with winter clothes as the temperature is quite extreme reaching to -6 degrees while I was there. The daytrips to Otaru and Jozankei were very delightful as well. The atmosphere, the old buildings, the snow and delicious food must not be missed. Would love to visit the rest of Hokkaido in other season.
