Almost brand new hotel, very modern but also keeping a Japanese character. Great amenities, nice onsen, perfect location, walking distance to many attractions and to the main station. Very friendly and supportive personnel. And the restaurant - just wow. If I come back to Kanazawa, I will stay in this hotel again for sure.

Located within 600 metres of Matsumoto Station and 3.9 km of The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring provides rooms in Matsumoto. I liked everything about this hotel but my most favorite part was that we could walk barefoot in the entire hotel, a lot more hotels could do that. The check-in was smooth, our luggage was placed in our room by the staff, staff who was friendly and helpful during our entire stay there. The room was clean and the dimensions perfect, not too small (there's a nook big enough to fit 2 huge suitcases) - plus, we had a view of the train tracks which for us is a plus (if you close the windows the noise from the train is diminished so no problem here). They have this amazing onsen that you can use from 3PM until 10AM (one of the pools is built under the open sky which is the best thing when it comes to onsens); after taking a bath you can check their pretty extensive manga collection (there are chairs and a desk where you can sit and read to your heart's content) and have ice cream (for free). You can have free coffee and juice and also a free late evening snack (soba/ramen mostly). 5 mins walk from the train station. Seriously, I can't imagine what is there not to like about this hotel (considering also the price which is more than fair).

Located in Fujiyoshida, within 2.3 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 6.7 km of Lake Kawaguchi, Megu Fuji 2021 provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... Prefect location where is only 3 mins from Mt. Fuji Station by walk. I really enjoy the fantastic view of Mountain Fuji at the roof, you can see the sunrise directly from the hostel. All staffs who I met were super nice, especially for the host who recommended me to enjoy the hot spring nearby with discount price. Laundry service and the pantry is so convenience for backpackers. A mini plaza is just 1 min walk from the hostel, you can buy snacks, vegetables and fruits ... Several local food restaurants are just at the opposite side of the station, enjoy the meal with reasonable price. It doesn't like Kawaguchikon where is usual crowd, I love here is more peaceful while I was staying with 2 nights. Highly recommend you staying here to enjoy a leisure environment with cheerful moments!!

Location is excellent: right outside of Takayama station! There are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and you can walk to Takayama Old Town. They allowed us to use their natural hot spring at their other hotel, so you should definitely check it out! The room is big and beautiful with an excellent view. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, EVER. Huge room especially by Japanese standards. Everything very modern and updated. Super friendly staff and beautiful views all around. Just downstairs in the building you will find both a mini mart and a pharmacy. So convenient for those last minute things you forgot to pack. Easy walk to the train station. We made the walk multiple time and it’s totally doable. Even with all luggage and middle of summer was not too bad. Would definitely stay again.
