Arai Villa Myoko er staðsett í Myoko, 47 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu, 49 km frá Nagano-stöðinni og 23 km frá Nojiri-vatni. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.

Myoko Forest Lodge er staðsett í Myoko og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, garð, sameiginlega setustofu og bar. This place is amazing! The room was super clean, warm, and the bed was really comfortable. Good reliable WiFi throughout the lodge, and if you're a skier or snowboarder the drying room downstairs is perfect for storing your gear. The location is lovely and scenic but only a short drive to plenty of places to eat, the train station, and the various snow resorts; transfers to the resorts were easy to organise, and a few of the closer ones are offered free of charge (the further ones cost but are very reasonable). The traditional bath they have available is also incredible for a soak after a big day on the mountain! Chereyne and Brett are fantastic hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area, very welcoming and happy to help with things like train station pickups, making local dinner reservations, making resort recommendations etc. They were also super accommodating of my dietary requirements (vegan) for all meals we ate at the lodge - amazing cooked breakfasts with continental options available too, and beautiful traditional barbeque dinners (they alternate with more western style meals and it's up to you which you want to eat in/out for). Myoko is a beautiful spot with some amazing snow to be enjoyed and it's super accessible from Tokyo, would absolutely recommend this place and hope we get the opportunity to come back!

Pension Moomin Papa er staðsett í Myoko, 31 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu og 33 km frá Nagano-lestarstöðinni. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi, loftkælingu, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. Pension Moomin Papa is a very cute and cosy home from home. It was very warm with lovely underfloor heating, clean and tidy. You can order home cooked breakfast and dinner. The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

Hunter Lodge er þægilega staðsett í 4 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Akakura Onsen-skíðasvæðinu og í 4 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá rútustöðinni. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are the kindest, most helpful people we have ever met. We were constantly greeted by smiles, asked if we needed help, and our kids were even given gifts when we left.

Myoko Ski Lodge Akakura Village er staðsett í þorpinu Akakura Onsen, miðsvæðis við Myoko-skíðasvæðin. Það er með fallegt útsýni yfir dalinn og ókeypis WiFi. It’s a happy place! Geoff and Tania ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the stay! They tried their best to pick us up from the train station even though there was a heavy snowfall on the night we arrived. All staffs were kind and friendly. Others who lived at the lodge were also very nice and sociable. I’m really glad to meet new friends from different parts of the world. Started the day with breakfast prepared by the team, then went snowboarding — ask Geoff to recommend ski areas if you’re unsure! Get into the onsen after a whole day of snow then head out to the village (about 7min walk) for dinner after — similarly, if you’re unsure where to eat, ask! Hang out at the common area to chill, chat, watch a movie, play games with affordable beers etc! Maximise your time here if you can! We were really sad to leave and wanted to stay an extra day.. ): till next time! Myoko Mountain Lodge er staðsett í aðeins 650 metra fjarlægð frá Akakura Kanko-skíðasvæðinu og í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Akakura Onsen-skíðasvæðinu en það býður upp á notaleg herbergi með... Michael and Tamami, hanging out with guests, very walkable to lifts and town, Michael’s tireless efforts for his guests

Kagura White Horse Inn er staðsett í Yuzawa, í innan við 100 metra fjarlægð frá Kigura-skíðadvalarstaðnum Mitsumata-stöðinni og státar af sameiginlegu eldhúsi og setustofu. The service and breakfast were really good!! Vegetarian curry in the vending machine. Ski rental was decent.

Morino Lodge - Myoko er staðsett í Myoko og býður upp á fjallaútsýni, verönd, veitingastað og bar. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á gististaðnum. The staff are awesome, make you feel at home and the entire vibe of the place is really relaxed. Big shout out to Dougie and the whole crew (sorry I didn't get everyone's names but they all remembered mine =)). The bartenders make great drinks, the drinks are priced really well (it's always happy hour), and the breakfast is solid every morning. The other facilities here are great for skiers/boarders. The dry room and waxing stations have everything and plenty of room for many guests. And a soak in their onsen was great every evening after ripping the slopes.

Allumeur býður upp á skíðabúnað sem hægt er að skíða upp að frá Ishiuchi Maruyama-skíðasvæðinu sem er í 1 mínútu göngufjarlægð. Það er með leigu á skíðabúnaði og bæði japönsk/vestræn herbergi. What did you like? Everything. Staff is super nice and helpful. Will be back next season for sure!
