Attractively set in Sapporo, Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo features a buffet breakfast and free WiFi. Best relation cost x benefit. We loved the breakfast with raclete and special local items lpudding, tofu and much more like curry and rice. I skept the usual continental breakfast both of them available in the buffet service. It seems that the installations are new, the gym was spacious compared to others in Tokyo and Kyoto. The laundry was really good with a good quantity of machines, the iron was available in our floor and probably in each floor. Short distance between the train station 5 minutes walking. Near the Hokkaido University.

Opened in June 2017, Ten to Ten Hostel is set in Sapporo, 500 metres from Hokkaido University. Check-in is self-service on the tablet at the front desk. Good location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and clean. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Sapporo.

Offering direct access from JR Sapporo Train Station, JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo offers accommodations with free Wi-Fi and wired internet. Still perfectly clean when I returned for second time. Breakfast was great. Bathroom spotless. The staff were all amazing and very nice, including the ones cleaning the rooms. Thank you.

Also has nearby convenience stores. Has a nice affordable breakfast buffet

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo-eki Kita-guchi is set in Sapporo, 1.3 km from Sapporo Station and 13 km from Shin-Sapporo Station. It was very near to the Sapporo JR station which made it easier (and cheaper) to travel to other tourist spots. There was an underground shopping area/way to the Odori park which can protect you during the summer from heat, and winter from cold. A bit a lot of walking, but you’ll never realize you are already there.
