富谷緑水庵茶道体験 offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 11 km of Sendai City Community Support Center and 16 km of Shiogama Shrine. The host was genuine and lovely. It's a family home/old tea house and the owner is very passionate about showing the traditions of a Japanese tea house. We expected a nice bed for the night in a Ryokan, but we also received an hour long tea ceremony all part of the very reasonably priced stay (£30 a night) It was lovely to experience and understand the process of a tea ceremony. It was equally wonderful to see the joy that a tea ceremony gave the host. His service was excellent and he made sure to be up early to make sure we left safely.
