yeremche is the "capital" of the Ukrainian Carpathians. So there are lots of facilities, restaurants etc. but it is quiet and relaxing too. The surrounding countryside and villages are lovely. The alpine trees are beautiful and the whole area has character.

If you want to go out from a big city and relax in the mountans, but you don't like hiking, this trip will suite you great. There are a ton of excursions for whatever you want: walking, cars, horses, quadrocycles. Short and long distant, expensive and economy: eveything is up to you.

Beautiful place. If you do not know Ukrainian you might be challenged, but getting a simcard with data, and google translate can get you far. Favourite experience was being invited inside and offered a glas by a local farm family, whose garden we just happen to stumble by. People were helpful in general in spite of the language barrier and the stereotypes. Made us feel very welcome.MariaDenmark - 10Scored 10

Yaremche is the center of the Karpatian Region. The mountains are beautiful. There are many day long excursions available. Bukovel ski resort, Monasteries, waterfalls, beautiful scenery. .There are many excellent restaurants available. We ate several times at the Kolyba Restaurant. The food was excellent.

We were lucky our room’s windows were turned to back side of the hotel, it was quieter. The room was clean and comfortable but they didn’t clean it up during our two days stay. The stuff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast is very simple and not delusions. Coffee was awful. The nature around is just fantastic and this cover all the faults of the facilities.
