We booked 3 rooms. It was very nice and clean. Direct access to the quiet beach. Restaurant and Shop nearby. We enjoyed staying there. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Everything went easily … renting motorbikes, organizing tours… even when we extended our stay it went smoothly.

This was a great location, it was a 5 minute walk from a small very cheap restaurant on the beach. Then hiring a moped is cheap so you can go to pretty much anywhere on the island in under 45 mins. The host was super friendly and helpful, leaving clear instructions for a smooth self check in!

Staff were laid back and did not respond quickly to our requests.If a safe is opened by your technician he should remove the contents and bring it to reception to verify who it belongs to. He cannot assume that it belongs to the present client as it could belong to the previous client as was the case with my friends stolen bag with passports and cash.This is unacceptable for a resort which claims it is 5 star.Stay away from Tanjung rhu.Alee - 6.0Scored 6.0
The cottage was a nice experience.
The cottage was a nice experience. Sunsets were beautiful but you can’t see the beach from the cottage and it wasn’t great for swimming anyway. Beautiful nature and surrounding scenery but not much to do and all the places we wanted to go to were pretty far away. When I first arrived, I freaked out by the lack of any shops...
When I first arrived, I freaked out by the lack of any shops/activity nearby, choice of restaurants etc. By day 2, I LOVED the serenity of the place. There was one restaurant 50 metres away, where I ate every night for a few dollars, opens at 4pm. wo coffee shops, that also served snacks, and a general store about 10 mins walk away. I had a beach to myself for my entire stay! Staying at Red Coral was like being at a retreat. Very comfortable, and very clean basic rooms, hot water shower, great aircon, kettle, fridge. Friendly and helpful staff. I can't wait to return. If you are party person, this is probably NOT the place for you! Get around by using Grab app ... so cheap!MandyAustralia - 6.0Scored 6.0

The beach is gorgeous, but we didn't swim in the ocean because of the concern for jellyfish stings. Beach is quite isolated from the rest of the island for most activities, although the mangrove tours launch from the beach, which is very convenient. I wouldn't recommend staying on Tanjung Rhu because of it being far away from other things on the island (30 minutes drive or so), especially with kids.LoreneSingapore - 10Scored 10

The views in front of the swimming pool are awesome! We had 2 dinners at the restaurant but I must say choices were very limited. We have been given complimentary airport transfers both ways. A big thank you to Tanjung Rhu!

Very friendly hosts with comfortable accommodation in a small village by the sea. A little gem which we would love to come back to. Lucky to have seen the horn bills visit the garden early morning along with lots birds and the owners pets. Love the pool great for relaxing by and enjoyed Tarick chilled out music. A lovely stay much better than a hotel. Really good value for money with added essentials to make our stay very comfortable. THANKYOU.

You can enjoy nice views in the morning and during the sunset on a provided hammock. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, AC worked perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful (they recommended us the best place for breakfast, provided transfer to the airport, etc.). There was tea, instant coffee, cold ant hot drinking water for free. Also, there were several nice fluffy kittens on the grounds :)

It is located in a very peaceful place very close to the beach. The breakfast is delicious, especially the french toast. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.
