Close to the ferry and local bus stop. Quiet area. Sento near by. Nice staff. There was a lounge to heat up food, watch TV. Price very reasonable.

Quiet and convenient location. Has everything you need, including shared basic kitchen facilities. Note no food for breakfast nearby (we were there in winter)- we prepped for breakfast for kids each day by hitting the 7 Eleven the day before. Location was convenient to Honmura and its offerings including the Art House Project, the ferry terminal, and a few restaurants. Johnny was very kind and picked us up at the Miyanoura terminal. He provided us with useful information on the limited openings of restaurants during the offseason and the use of the local bus.

This was the most outstanding property we stayed at while in Japan for 3 weeks. It was authentic, the beds were so comfortable, the house was spotless, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We will return again and stay longer.

Owners were a very sweet couple, even making dinner reservations for me at Yayoda for seafood and barnacles. Seeing the sunrise through the shoji was amazing, and hard to beat the quiet calm of being near the water.
