Plenty to do and see. A lovely long walk is a must along the beachline. Plenty of choice of bars, restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours. There is a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant (It's Vietnam) on the front at La Carihuela - can recommend highly. Want something cheap to eat and drink? - try MG Jamon.

I liked the castle in town, nice beaches, a lot of restaurants, old town, shops, everything close & not too large. Very good place to relax. Close to the airport, so quite easy to get there & to travel around to go to Málaga, Benalmadena & other cities. We actually stayed just outside of Torremolinos which was great. The beach was clean and tidy, lots of places to eat and drink. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good mix of age groups. A meal for two with a couple of drinks ranged from €20 to €50 depending on what you wanted to eat, eating in the restaurants in the street behind the beach front tended to be cheaper but just as good! Great selection of restaurants and bars. Not too commercialised. Lots of things to do like walking and visiting surrounding resorts. Good local transport, nice people, plenty of sunshine and beautiful beaches and seating areas. Very relaxing holiday.

Unfortunately the sea water was cold this time, around 16-17°C and difficult to swim, that's why we stayed one day to the swimming pool only and other 3 days we traveled in south of Spain, from Valencia to Gibraltar. The food was good and diversified. I have had half board and you can choose between lunch and dinner any time. It's beautiful. The property is walled in, with plenty of parking in the courtyard. The pool was spacious and warm, and very popular. This was my favorite city in Spain. Downtown Torremolinos and it's beach is just 2 blocks from the hotel. It was vibrant, even in early May, with a busy nightlife full of excellent restaurants with street entertainment and all-night strolling.
