Second visit to this hotel. Great location, near restaurants, lovely coastal walks and the sea! The hotel is very pretty and has gorgeous gardens that are well kept. It’s also lovely to be a child free location. Breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve had in Europe.

The hotel is located right on the sea front, which is great for exploring the town, getting about and accessing different amenities by the beach. We have not tried the breakfast bu we enjoyed lovely food and wine at the restaurant. There's parking available, though bit of a walk from the hotel itself.
The room was very comfortable, clean, and light, aircon worked well and the dailry refresh service was really appreciated.

The location and tranquility. The staff were very welcoming and the views were absolutely spectacular. The building transported us back through the ages and we loved reading on our terrace and watching sunrise. Olga was full of wonderful recommendations that made our stay on the Costa Brava one we will never forget.

Lovely welcome.
Fantastic place to stay. Really loved the interiors. It didn't feel like a 2 star at all. Really impressed.
Our little dog was made really welcome.

Family owned and run hotel, with one of the best restaurants in Llafranc. Unique location at the beach. The family feel is very much there, the staff all professional&friendly, the inside of the hotel is beautiful

Having revisited LLafranc many times since discovering it in 1963 I obviously love the place - but it is changing. There is suddenly a lot of construction which will ruin the place - too many expensive apartments being either crammed in near the beach or further up the valley. During our stay we had to endure the noise of chainsaws from 08.00 all day with no siesta as they clear more woodland. There are not enough restaurants or local shopping facilities to cope with the summer influx of tourists.
But it still retains its charm and we will be back!

Llafranc is an incredible little town.
Llafranc is an incredible little town. The beach is fantastic and there are lots of great restaurants to eat at. There are also a lot of great snorkelling spots. You are able to do a great walk all along the cost through some other beautiful towns. It was really accessible to walk to the nearby towns and we were also able to get to Llafranc using just public transport.

Staff were wonderful along with the location. Room had everything you need tea and coffee facilities and a bar fridge stocked if you required something to drink.
Property had a lift and a wonderful breakfast which was included.
It is a small seaside town with narrow streets and limited parking, we were able to score a car park only a block away however we visited at the end of September

Llafranc is beautiful. A lovely destination for families.
Llafranc is beautiful. A lovely destination for families. Has a genteel feel. Although restaurants are open late it’s never rowdy. Parking can be very very difficult , same in all other nearby villages. We liked to get to the beach about 8, just before the sun hit the beach and sit close to the shoreline. Lovely clear water, a deceptive shelf drop a metre or two in. We had some very hot days but with a good breeze. Some nice cliff top walks and beautiful views of the bay

Llafranc is a small town with no nightclubs or music bars - therefore no hen or stag parties! It is very clean, tidy, and has as air of happy orderliness. Lots of good restaurants to choose from. It feels quite French, being relatively close to the border and there are many French visitors there in the high season. Nice shops, a bit more expensive than further south where we live, but that is understandable. Fabulous views from the lighthouse. Lovely bay scenes from the nautical club and non-members can drink and dine there. A good base from which to visit the medieval towns of Pals, Palafrugell, and Peretallada. Our extended family has been going there for 41 years (and staying in the same house) so it must be doing something right!

Originally a small fishing village that has been partly modified to a pleasant tourist destination with lots of restaurants, some shops. Everything small scale. Of course you will no longer find the authentic Lllafranc in the present-day village.
I really liked the design of this boutique hotel, everything is made of wood, linen, raffia. It has so many details! The staff is young, kind and well prepared and at the restaurant you can find delicious food. It is a couple of minutes far from the beach and the restaurants area along the seaside. Llafranc is also a smart destination if you want to visit other cities on the Costa Brava, you can reach them in 15/30 minutes by car.
we went for a partial ocean view, and the room was nice but a little small. This is a boutique hotel that is thoughtfully designed and the attention to detail is appreciated. The location can't be beat right on the beach in LlaFranc, and close to the hike to Calella. Breakfast was lovely with many options and the refreshment stations on the landings of each floor was genius (access to water, coffee, etc)
Property is well located in LlaFranc, just one street back from the seafront.
The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a short break. Collecting the keys from Hotel Garbi was no problem and only 5 minutes away by car.
Basement parking was very tight, but better than having to park on street - ok as long as you’re not in a large car.
Set into the hillside elevated above the port end of the bay, you won't find a better view of Llafranc than from this apartment. And .... walk down the steps ..... you're right at the beach and restaurants.
Javier, the owner, is very friendly, welcoming and eager to please.

The hotel is located across the street from a lovely beach, both restaurants on property were good, especially the more upscale offering, the multi-lingual staff were professional and extremely accommodating. We will definitely stay at the Terramar Llfranc Hotel again!
Everything was great. it is only 5 minutes from the beach walking so it was nice to have a quiet place to return to since the hotels by the beach are crowded and loud. we loved the peace, the pool, which was perfect temperature, the room big, bathroom big and stylish.
The pool was very practical for our group, and given it was low season we had it nearly to ourselves. The apartment is a brief (but very steep) walk from the village of Llafranc, which made it easy for us to have dinners and lunches there.
The hotel is in an excellent location on the front in Llafranc. The room was a decnet size and fully airconditioned - perfect for a few nights near the beach. We did not take breakfast at the hotel until the last day - it was excellent.
The hotel is beautiful stylistically and is very clean. The breakfast each morning in the restaurant was really nice, and the food in the evenings was lovely - though we found that you had to book a table in advance.
Great location at Llafranc - close to the beach and promenade, yet very quiet and nicely set in greenery. Functional set up of the room. Decent breakfast. Attentive yet non-intrusive service. Clean.
- location in former monastery of the 5th century
- incredible views
- food & service in hotel restaurant much better than in the near japanese restaurant by the light house
Very cute room with an amazing ocean view, right in front of the Llafranc beach.
Staff are so kind and helpful, no matter how busy they are.
Had a very comfortable feel.
Very nice design and the employees were very nice! They spoke English which is always helpful. Breakfast was great too. Everything you would want in a boutique hotel!
The location of the hotel is great with easy access to the beach and restaurants! The staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely. It is clean and safe!
