This is a wonderful place; we never ventured outside of the old town - why would you. Yes there are tourist traps a plenty for the cruise ships etc but with a little thought one can easily find very authentic traditional places to eat and drink with wonderful friendly staff. The Roman theatre is a MUST see.

Second trip to Cadiz.
Second trip to Cadiz. I liked it even better the second time. It's a lovely city to just wander in. Just enough attractions to keep one busy but not enough that you are exhausted trying to see everything. Parks are lovely, harbour is a great area to walk in, and the city streets are fascinating. Great food everywhere we went.

Great for families— 2nd bedroom had two beds and a pocket door. It was also great to have an oven, which isn’t typical in many apartment rentals. The manager was responsive and communicative. Two beautiful windows with views into the plaza. We were able to park at an underground parking facility at Plaza San Antonio, then walk a few blocks to the apartment.

You could find many shops, bars, restaurants and attractions if you only get out the hotel's door. The seafront is also very close. The host was smiled and friendly although we arrived a bit late.The room was good, with its own facilities. The reception is 24/7. It was perfect stay for a night. I wished I could spend much more time in Cadiz. That would be a good resaon to come back some day.
