The owner is very friendly and helpful. She showed us places where we could eat and gave us a map with the bus timetable. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. I think it was my best sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed in. There is also an electric heater under the futon, if you need one. Just like other reviewers mentioned, In the morning we were given a breakfast that was not included in the price. It contained meat, bread, multiple vegetables and fruits. Again, the best breakfast I ever had.

Gableview Forest Inn ligger i Nikko, under 2,8 km fra Tobu Nikko Station og 3,2 km fra Nikko Station. Virkelig godt onsen med god mulighed for at booke plads. Ejeren af hotellet var meget imødekommende og venlig.

The view from my room is overlooking Lake Chuzenji. It was very beautiful when I went in autumn. Also, the staff were great! They were very helpful and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

B&B Izumi Nikko ligger i Nikko, blot 2,4 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen, og tilbyder indkvartering med bjergudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Izumi was the most lovely host possible. He came with his car to drive us to and from the B&B each time we needed. He recommended us different landmarks close by, and even a very tasty restaurant. He cooked us a delicious japanese breakfast. In short, Izumi was perfect ! The room was also lovely, with comfy beds, a little table to enjoy tea, a terrace to rest after a busy day and a big bathroom. We couldn't dream for a better stay in Nikko for our honeymoon !

Sanga Nikko ligger i Nikko, 2,1 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen, og tilbyder værelser med gratis WiFi. Ejendommen ligger 10 km fra Kegon Falls og 22 km fra Nikkō-kokitusu-koen. I really had a fantastic time staying at Sanga Niko. The room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The room wasn't huge but if I needed more space I could always go to the shared living room & kitchen area which was spacious and had a lovely vibe to it. It has been a while since I stayed in an accomodation with a shared bathroom but I shouldn't have worried - everything was always exceptionally clean. I also appreciated that there was a washer and dryer that I could use. I met a couple of the other guests who were staying at the accomodation but never heard any noise from the other rooms. The owner, Yoshi, is a wonderful host and really helped me make the best out of my time in Nikko. Overall, it's a great choice for travelers who are looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place in Nikko. I highly recommend it.

Midorian ligger i nationalparken Nikko og har en have. Ejendommen ligger ca. 1,5 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen, 8 km fra Kegon Falls og 16 minutters gang fra Futarasan-helligdommen. We had so much fun at the Midorian! It was a great location, since it was near all the sites we wanted to visit. We really enjoyed the property with the large garden area and the river behind it. But the best part was the amazing host, Arai san! Our daughters (ages 4 and 8) would have been happy to stay at the house the entire trip, since Arai san made it so much fun. At their invitation, he accompanied us to the river several times and even brought a net to help them look for creatures in the water. He also taught them how to catch dragonflies, a skill they have now mastered. :) The girls loved the bunk beds, and I loved the bath, which was always prepared in advance with the perfect temperature of water.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Everything! The breakfast was pre-ordered and limited to 6 items per person (including infant). The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming, it was great to have a common lounge to relax and 2 individual bathhouses for utilisation. There are some beverages and access to microwaves, oven, hot water flask in the lounge. Also, it is great that it had a small children section with suitable furniture. You can ask for the shuttle to a nearby restaurant but you will need to make your own way back. The bed and breakfast owner's family are staying in-house. So the owner is always readily available when called.

Det nyrenoverede COZY Inn Free Shuttle service ligger i Nikko, 12 km fra Tobu Nikko Station og 14 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen. It was a wonderful experience, coming to Mr. Hiro's house. The accommodation was clean, beautiful, traditional, the conversation with the owner was very pleasant. I slept wonderfully there. I will always return to this place in my thoughts. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. And as a bonus, there is excellent and tasty drinking water. If you are thinking about where to stay in Japan, this is the right choice. Just don't make the same mistake I did. We were only for one night. We have to come back here for at least 3 nights.
