Located in Gojō, お宿さつき奈良五條 is a recently renovated accommodation, 29 km from Subaru Hall and 37 km from Tanpi Shrine. This guest house provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Surprisingly good mostly everything, very spacious room, clean, good size bed and very comfortable. Very nice and comfortable bathroom too. We didn't really met with the hosts but they had a great system getting the keys with clear instructions. We're certainly very happy.

This was a wonderful guest house stay. Our hostess was so kind and made us feel welcome. My son and I stayed in the room that slept 3 and had a small living space included. It was in a very convenient location and we enjoyed our walk to the Nara park. We would definitely stay here again.

Offering river views, 吉野長屋 is an accommodation set in Yoshino, 42 km from Tanpi Shrine and 43 km from Mihara History Museum. Owners were very nice. Clean. Large place. Very comfortable

Fukubatake B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Yoshino, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Staying here was absolutely wonderful. These folks are incredibly generous, warm, interesting people who are fun to be around and who are happy to share their authentic Japanese country home with others. Yuki and KoMay believe in organic, locally produced food and Yuki is an excellent cook. 'Breakfast' turned out to be a genuinely superb three course meal with home made hot soup, a gorgeous plate of all sorts of delicious treats including tempura herbs (from the garden), home made bread and little bean sweet treats. KoMay is working on his organic garden and Yuki turns it into a feast! KoMay is a professional jazz pianist. He is quite brilliant at improvisation and is happy to entertain with music as well as conversation. We felt incredibly privileged to stay with such genuine and interesting people.

Set in Nara, 4.7 km from Nara Station and 22 km from Iwafune Shrine, Niwamori_org offers free bikes and air conditioning. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Jerome and Hana are super chill and friendly hosts, we feel very welcomed in their home :) We also enjoyed helping them with gardening and also the dinner with their garden volunteers!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 彩 irodori 1日1組一軒家の宿 ペットOK is set in Gojō, 30 km from Subaru Hall and 40 km from Mizugaike Park. The place was beautiful, and peaceful. Miyuki, the host, speaks good english and is an Amazing person ! The bed is extra confortable, I slept like a baby !

This was a wonderful, memorable experience. We visited over a holiday, but Chiharu & Yutaro still made us delicious coffee and breakfast, and guided us on the best places to visit and eat in Nara. We'd absolutely stay again.

The hosts are extremely friendly and will provide you, if you wish, with a Japanese dinner (seafood based) and either a Japanese or Western breakfast - both incur an additional cost. You can also self cater. The place caters for just one set of guests at a time. You have a main room with a table, piano, TV and WiFi, and a room for sleeping in. You leave these rooms to go to the toilet and kitchen area. Shower and bath is around the other side of the building. The house is quite old and is therefore cold overall, however, within your rooms there heaters which keep it very cosy and there are heating mats for the beds. Book here to enjoy a stay in a traditional Japanese house! You can also request a pickup from the train station.
